Our service

INCLUSIVE – Inspection of ABUS crane systems

An inspection is mandatory at least once a year. The primary purpose of this is to prevent accidents. However, a professionally performed crane inspection also provides an opportunity to improve and ensure the availability of the crane system.

We have therefore decided to turn the obligation to inspect cranes into an opportunity for our customers to increase safety, productivity, and cost savings.

Advantage 2: Always be safe

Never forget crane inspections again!

Labor inspectors strictly enforce compliance with safety regulations. Anyone who forgets to have their crane inspected must expect an increased liability risk. If something happens—it doesn't bear thinking about! Anyone who has signed an inclusive inspection contract no longer needs to worry: we will remember the inspection date for you and carry it out punctually and without being asked.

Advantage 1: No more sick leave

Always be safe!

As our service contract partner, you can rest assured that we will take care of scheduling recurring inspections of your crane system in accordance with occupational safety regulations. Service directly from the manufacturer offers you additional security. Our service technicians are specially trained for their tasks and have the experience that only the crane manufacturer itself can offer.

Advantage 3: Cost savings

Save money!

Our service offering is called "Inclusive Inspection" not least because it includes a lot in terms of price: minor repairs, for example, that take up to 30 minutes. As our service contract partner, you also receive a 5% discount on ABUS spare parts. Added to this are the cost advantages you enjoy from guaranteed availability and early diagnosis of necessary repairs. By the way: if you operate cranes and hoists from other manufacturers in addition to ABUS cranes, we also offer you this service—with our inclusive benefits.

Advantage 4: Customer service guarantee

customer service guarantee

If a malfunction should occur despite regular maintenance, as an inclusive inspection customer, you can be sure that our service technician will be on site as quickly as possible. That is our goal—when you need us, we are always there for you. If necessary, our service technician will also carry out major repairs, conversions, installation work, and measurements.

Do you also repair or maintain Kone and Demag cranes?

No. The SCHNEIDER KRANE team is manufacturer-certified and repairs and maintains ABUS cranes and Vaculift hoists.

Yes. The SCHNEIDER KRANE team also maintains and inspects crane runways. A SCHNEIDER KRANE sales consultant will be happy to provide you with information about the type, scope, and costs of the inspection.

For the initial acceptance test, the test load is: rated load + 25% overload. For the annual inspection, the test load should correspond to the rated load of the crane, but must be at least 80% of the rated load.

This means "tapping mode": The load was lifted briefly 16 times in succession, which meant that the load on the hook could not be determined/evaluated. For safety reasons, further lifting operations are prevented. Lifting is enabled with the lower command, which must be held for at least 2 seconds.
